ATV Riding Near Dallas
What a ride with us actually looks like — the trails, the training and what to bring.
What an ATV ride with us is like
Every ride is a guided one-hour tour across roughly 100 acres of private land in Fort Worth. You are not following a fixed loop on your own — a guide leads your group, reads the pace, and picks lines that suit the riders in it.
The ground varies. There is open, forgiving terrain for anyone still finding their confidence, and rougher, tighter riding when the group wants it. Texas weather does the rest: dry and dusty most of the year, properly muddy after rain. Plenty of people book specifically hoping for the mud.
Never ridden before? Start here
Most of our riders have never been on an ATV. Before anyone rides, we fit your safety gear and run hands-on training covering throttle, brakes, steering, and how to handle turns and uneven ground. You will not be sent out until you are comfortable, and your guide stays with the group the entire ride.
What to expect on the day
- Arrive a few minutes early and check in — we will have your booking ready.
- Get fitted for safety gear.
- Run through the safety training and get comfortable with the controls.
- Head out with your guide for the hour-long ride.
What to wear and bring
- Closed-toe shoes — no sandals or flip-flops
- Clothes you do not mind getting dusty or muddy
- Sunglasses or eye protection on bright days
- Water, especially in Texas summer heat
- A change of clothes if it has rained recently
Who can ride
Drivers must be 12 or older. Children from age 3 can ride as passengers on a double-rider ATV with an adult driving. Groups of mixed ages and experience are normal here — the guide adjusts the ride to whoever is in it.
